CREW MEDIA GUIDE
Great videos with your phone.
One charter. One story. Original photos and videos.
1 · Prepare
Charge your phone, clean the lens and open the Camera app.
2 · Choose the orientation
Vertical 9:16 for Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Horizontal 16:9 for regular YouTube videos. Do not rotate your phone during a shot.
3 · Keep the camera steady
Use both hands, good light and the rear camera at 1×. Avoid digital zoom. When panning, move slowly.
4 · Short, connected clips
Aim for 10 clips from the same charter. Use 12–15-second shots for the filming plan. The longer video demonstrations show 20-second practice shots. The team selects and edits the best moments.
5 · Tell the story
Show the yacht, boarding, guests, sea, food, activities and farewell. Combine wide shots, medium shots and details of the same group. Do not mix charters.
6 · Safety and permission
Your safety duties come first. Confirm guests’ permission before publishing, especially for children. Uploading a file does not authorize its publication.
One story for four platforms
Vertical 9:16: Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. The same collection of clips can serve all four platforms; you do not need four recordings of every moment.
Your 10-clip plan: 1 yacht · 1 boarding · 1 panorama · 1 group · 2 action shots · 2 reactions · 1 celebration · 1 farewell.
Finished-video targets: Instagram and TikTok, 15–30 seconds; Facebook Reels and YouTube Shorts, 20–45 seconds. For regular YouTube videos, record separate horizontal 16:9 footage; the edited-video target is 2–4 minutes. These are H2OH production targets, not platform limits.
After the charter
Use your own Google account. You do not need the H2OH password.
Enter your name, occasion, charter date, yacht and exact departure time in the upload form. Each submission must contain files from one charter only.
Tap Add file and find the original photos or videos under Files, Photos or Gallery, depending on your phone. There is no need to record again.
Attach up to 10 files, up to 1 GB each. To add more, make another submission using the same charter details. Wait for the upload to finish, tap Submit and check the confirmation.
