Riviera Maya Bachelor and Bachelorette Yacht Party Guide

The Ultimate Guide For Planning An Epic Bachelor(ette) Party

Why settle for beach vibes or nightlife when you can have the perfect blend of both aboard your own private yacht for the day?

It’s time to get the “I do” crew together and see out the ‘single life’ in style!

Plan a Fun Theme

Before we get into it…It’s not a bachelorette party without some #swag!

Festive party favors and accessories are what transform the weekend from a girls/guys get together to a bachelor(ette) bash, right?

Whether you go all out with matching outfits or just throw on some cute team bride sunglasses, don’t make the amateur mistake of forgetting to plan a theme.

It’s a rite of passage…

Giving everyone a reason to dress up makes for even more fun and games.

Plus, the photos that live on after the event are just brilliant.

In need of some inspiration?

Here are some theme ideas for your group:

• Frida Kahlo
• 90s
• Nautical
• American flag stripe/colors
• Harry Potter
• Country

Have you got any more suggestions or ideas?

Let us know down in the comments section below, we would love to hear from you.

Throw The Ultimate Yacht Party

Okay so, at H2oh Sun Cruises we know a thing or two about destination weddings and how to throw an unforgettable bachelor(ette) party!

It’s what we do best.

Start by matching the yacht to your guest count and the charter to your plans.

Compare the route and package, then review the complete booking price for your group.

Our nine current fleet options all board at Puerto Aventuras Marina.

The marina fee is $20 USD per attendee aged five and older, collected on the charter day; children under five are exempt. Transportation and selected extras are separate.

So, get ready to have some serious fun and join us as we marvel at the breathtaking Caribbean coastlines on deck, together – trust us, it never gets old!

The ocean is our happy place, and we love nothing more than sharing it with you.

Choose from the current H2OH fleet by passenger capacity, layout and the experience your group wants.

Discuss your celebration plans with the team before choosing the yacht and package.

Compare the options for your group’s budget.

Round Up Your Friends & Family

Step 1: See which of your friends or family are game to have some fun in paradise for your special occasion and make a list.

Once you have a guest count, compare the current Riviera Maya fleet, then check availability for your preferred date.

The right yacht depends on the number of guests and the layout you prefer.

Choose a yacht within its approved guest capacity. The included guest allowance in a base price is a separate number.

For example, Los Tres Piratas has a maximum capacity of 23 guests. A 20-guest group does not automatically require a 40-guest yacht.

If you have any questions our team is on-hand to help you.

Email us at [email protected] or call us directly on (800) 530-9194.

Count everyone attending and confirm the selected yacht’s maximum capacity before booking.

A base rate covers a stated guest allowance; additional guests may cost more within the yacht’s maximum capacity.

Arrive at Puerto Aventuras Marina 20 minutes before departure. Transportation is arranged separately.

Book Your Flights

Looking for flights is a surefire way to build excitement for your bachelor(ette) party.

Compare flight dates, total fares, baggage and change terms. Booking earlier does not guarantee the lowest price.

Compare these details before booking flights:

1. Compare the total fare, including baggage and seats.
2. Check cancellation, change and refund terms.
3. Allow time for arrival, transfers and the group’s schedule.

Alternatively, you can get a package deal with your travel agent.

Check your accommodation before booking:

1. Confirm the property’s guest-age policy for your group.
2. Compare room arrangements and the complete accommodation price.
3. Check meals, drinks and other services included in the hotel rate.
4. Review cancellation and payment terms before reserving.
5. Plan the transfer to Puerto Aventuras Marina and your arrival time.

Choose your accommodation around the group’s plans and the marina transfer. Travel time varies with traffic and the exact pickup address; we will confirm your pickup time.

Choose Your Yacht Charter

This is my favorite part… helping you choose the right yacht for you and your group.

The party starts here!

Our yachts are your yachts, the only question you really have to ask yourself is, which one will you choose?

We have nine current fleet options. These six examples show different sizes; use the fleet page to compare the full selection.

1. Dos Piratas – length 53′, max capacity 48
2. Los Tres Piratas – length 47′, max capacity 23
3. 4 Piratas – length 51′, max capacity 28
4. Piratas de Tejas – length 72′, max capacity 80
5. Pura Vida – length 80′, max capacity 80
6. Texas – length 60′, max capacity 55

Compare the selected yacht, guest allowance and package against your budget.

Use Build Your Charter to compare an estimate, then ask the team about your preferred date and final booking total.

Regular includes meals and open bar. Family includes meals and non-alcoholic drinks, with cash bar or bottle options. Custom excludes meals, open bar and non-alcoholic drinks.

Compare Activities and Package Inclusions

Match the activities, food and drinks to the selected yacht, duration and package.

Snorkeling

Snorkeling availability depends on the booked route and conditions. Follow the crew’s instructions before entering the Caribbean Sea.

The four-hour InHa option is the standard snorkeling charter. Confirm its activities for your selected trip.

Marine life may be seen, but wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Follow the guide and avoid touching animals or coral.

Entering the Water

Use the crew’s designated water-entry point. Ask before swimming or jumping, and follow all boarding and water instructions.

Paddle boards

Ask whether paddleboards are available on the selected yacht and whether conditions allow their use.

Follow the crew’s instructions and discuss your experience before trying an activity.

Fishing

Dedicated sport fishing is a separate activity. Do not assume fishing equipment or a fishing itinerary is included in a standard H2OH charter.

Ask the fishing operator about its boat, trip length, equipment and complete price.

Choose a dedicated fishing trip separately if fishing is the main goal; catches and target species depend on the operator and conditions.

Karaoke

Ask about the selected yacht’s sound system and any karaoke setup before planning activities that depend on particular equipment.

Open Bar

Open bar is included in Regular. Family has non-alcoholic drinks and cash bar or bottle options; Custom excludes drinks. Review your chosen package before planning the bar.

• Choose Regular, Family or Custom.
• Check alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink inclusions.
• Confirm any cash-bar or bottle options.
• Ask which mixers are available.
• Check brands and quantities in the quote.
• Confirm upgrade charges before booking.
• Discuss any special drink requests in advance.

Confirm the available brands, quantities and upgrade price.

Food

Meals are included in Regular and Family. Custom excludes meals; discuss food arrangements before booking.

• Review the menu for the selected charter.
• Tell the team about allergies and dietary needs.
• Confirm serving arrangements and any extra charges.

Confirm the menu and any separately priced upgrade.

Where Will Your Bachelor(ette) Party Cruise Take You?

Compare the actual two-, three- and four-hour routes below. Each boards at Puerto Aventuras Marina.

2 Hour Sunset Cruise

Choose the two-hour coastal sunset cruise. It has no InHa stop; sunset or twilight timing depends on the date.

3 Hour Xpu-Ha Cruise

Compare the three-hour Xpu-Ha cruise for a coastal celebration.

The standard three-hour route is Xpu-Ha. Confirm the planned stops and activities for your booking; conditions can affect them.

4 Hour InHa Snorkeling Cruise

Choose the four-hour InHa charter and a yacht that fits your guest count. Four hours is the total charter duration.

The four-hour InHa cruise focuses on snorkeling when conditions permit. Food and drink inclusions follow your package.

Discuss Optional Upgrades

Ask about available bottle or meal upgrades and their prices. A chef, premium bar or fixed number of champagne bottles is not automatically included.

Plan a Separate Cozumel Visit

Plan a Cozumel visit separately from the standard H2OH two-, three- and four-hour charters.

Confirm transport, admission and opening arrangements directly with any Cozumel beach club before including it in your itinerary.

Confirm Optional Extras

If you can’t be extra on your Bachelor(ette) party, then seriously, when can you?

The items below are planning questions for optional extras. Confirm availability, suitability and price before relying on any service or bottle in your party plans.

Professional Photo Package

For a professional photo package, ask about the photographer, coverage, delivery and price before booking.

Aerial Photography

Ask a photographer about drone permissions, weather limits and delivery. Do not assume drone coverage or a memory card is included.

DJ

If you want a DJ for the party, ask about availability, equipment, the yacht’s space and the separate fee.

Mariachi Band

Mariachi is traditional Mexican music. If you want a live band, confirm availability, space, duration and the separate fee.

Private Chef

Ask about a private chef’s availability, menu, dietary needs and separate price; chef service is not included in every package.

Transportation

Ask about roundtrip transportation to Puerto Aventuras Marina. Confirm the pickup address, guest count, pickup time and separate price.

Limo Service

For a limo or luxury vehicle, confirm the actual vehicle, passenger limit, luggage space and price before booking.

Confirm any refreshments in the actual transportation quote; a bottle or drink is not automatically included.

Moet & Chandon

If you want champagne, ask which bottles are available and how the add-on fits the bar in your selected package.

Confirm the brand, bottle size, quantity and price before ordering.

Veuve Clicquot

If this brand is your preference, ask for the specific bottle and current price rather than relying on an old menu.

Dom Perignon

Discuss your preferred champagne before booking; availability and price need confirmation.

Grey Goose

For a vodka upgrade, confirm the brand, bottle size and serving arrangements in the quote.

Matusalem Rum

For a rum add-on, confirm the expression and bottle size available.

Specify the rum expression and bottle size you want in the quote.

If you prefer a different rum expression, ask for its current availability and bottle size.

Confirm the separately quoted rum’s price and quantity; do not assume every expression is stocked.

Johnnie Walker Black Label

For a whisky upgrade, identify the specific label and bottle size you want.

Johnnie Walker Double Black

Confirm the Double Black expression and price if it is your preference.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label

For a premium whisky, ask about current availability and the complete bottle price.

Don Julio Añejo

For a tequila upgrade, confirm the brand, class, bottle size and price before booking.

Patrón Añejo

Ask about the specific añejo bottle rather than assuming an expression or size is always available.

Don Julio 70

If you prefer this expression, confirm the exact Don Julio bottle and current quote.

Hendrick’s Gin

For a gin upgrade, confirm the brand, bottle size and available mixers with the team.
