The right bachelorette yacht is the one that fits the complete guest list, the bride’s priorities and the confirmed budget. Start with passenger capacity, then compare layout, route, food, music and celebration extras. H2OH offers private charters from Puerto Aventuras Marina; the examples below are a shortlist method, not a ranking or a promise of date availability.
Use guest capacity to rule out the wrong boats
The published H2OH fleet includes Los Tres Piratas for up to 23 guests; Piratas TOO for 24; Última Pirata, 4 Piratas and 4.5 Piratas for 28 each; Dos Piratas for 48; Texas for 55; and Piratas de Tejas and Pura Vida for 80 each. Count the bride and everyone else attending, and disclose outside vendors so the team can account for them.
Examples of a capacity-based shortlist| Your group | Possible starting point | Important exclusion |
|---|
| 12 guests | Compare several yacht sizes for the layout and price you prefer. | No need to fill a yacht to its maximum to book privately. |
| 26 guests | The 28-guest yachts and larger vessels. | Los Tres Piratas and Piratas TOO are below the required guest count. |
| 40 guests | Dos Piratas, Texas, Piratas de Tejas or Pura Vida. | The 28-guest yachts cannot accommodate this guest list. |
| 50 guests | Texas, Piratas de Tejas or Pura Vida. | Dos Piratas has a 48-guest limit. |
| 60 guests | Piratas de Tejas or Pura Vida. | Texas has a 55-guest limit. |
Capacity does not establish availability, shaded seating for everyone, or the guest allowance included in the fare. The guest-capacity guide explains those separate numbers. Confirm the event arrangement for the actual group rather than choosing by length alone.
Write down three must-have features
For a sing-along, start with Karaoke at Sea and confirm the system on the named yacht. For photographs, compare a place where the group can gather safely and agree when the photo happens. For guests who prefer to stay dry, examine seating and shade rather than making every activity dependent on swimming.
Check bathrooms, stairs, boarding and water access. Ask where food will be served and whether the group can gather together for the toast. A large passenger limit does not promise a seated banquet for the same number. Do not assume every yacht supplies the same water toys, high-dive platform, internet connection or entertainment equipment.
Match the activity to the route
Three-hour Xpu-Ha is a daytime yacht option. Choose four-hour InHa for a snorkeling-focused itinerary. A two-hour evening charter gives the group time aboard, with the date and departure determining whether sunset light is possible.
Stops and water activities depend on the captain’s assessment of conditions. Give non-swimmers a plan aboard and do not promise wildlife sightings. The whole charter includes travel and the return, not three or four hours at one swim stop.
Compare a charter and a celebration bundle separately
Regular all-inclusive charters include meals, open bar, captain and crew. Review the actual menu and drink selection, especially when a particular bottle or dietary arrangement matters. Family and Custom Series are different meal-and-beverage choices.
The bachelorette page lists celebration add-ons separately from the yacht fare. Check each bundle’s guest allowance and crew-confirmation requirements. Photography, a DJ, transport and a particular premium Champagne are not automatically included. Avoid buying the same cake, decoration or bar upgrade twice when comparing individual extras with a bundle.
Ask for two comparable quotes
Shortlist two suitable yachts for the same date, duration, guest count and package. Compare the complete price: base charter, additional guests, marina fees, transport, celebration extras and applicable payment charges. Then compare the differences that matter to the bride, such as seating or karaoke, instead of assuming the more expensive or newer-looking vessel is the better choice.
Staying in Tulum or Playa del Carmen? Both groups travel to Puerto Aventuras Marina. Confirm the pickup arrangement and arrive 20 minutes before departure. Build your estimate and obtain confirmation before treating a shortlisted yacht as reserved.
