Choose a yacht by its published guest limit and your event requirements, not by length alone. First count everyone attending. Then compare seating, shade, meal service and water access on the yachts that can accommodate that count. A larger boat is an option for a smaller private group; its maximum capacity is not a minimum booking size.
Keep three different numbers separate
Maximum guest capacity is the upper guest count published for the yacht, subject to the operator’s final confirmation. Included guests are the people covered by the selected base fare. Event seating is the arrangement available for a meal, ceremony or presentation. None of these numbers should be substituted for another.
For example, a charter that includes 15 guests may allow additional guests for a charge, but only up to the yacht’s permitted limit. A child with no charter charge still needs to be disclosed in the headcount. Tell H2OH about any outside photographer or entertainer boarding with you so the final passenger arrangement is correct.
H2OH’s published yacht capacities
The H2OH fleet listing, checked for this revision, gives the following maximum guest counts. These are not live availability results, meal-seating guarantees or guests included in the starting price.
Use the headcount to make a real shortlist
A group of 26 exceeds the published limits of Los Tres Piratas and Piratas TOO. The 28-guest yachts and larger boats remain capacity candidates. A group of 50 exceeds Dos Piratas’ 48-guest limit, leaving Texas and the two 80-guest yachts as candidates. A group of 60 needs one of the 80-guest options if everyone is to travel on one H2OH yacht.
These examples filter by capacity only. They do not establish availability or suitability for every activity. If the guest count could increase, obtain an updated yacht and price comparison before inviting additional people. Do not assume the crew can simply make room beyond the limit.
Check the space your activity actually uses
For a standing celebration, look at the usable gathering area and the route between seating, drinks and toilets. For a seated meal, request the number of dining places that can be used at one time. For a ceremony or presentation, identify where guests and speakers will be positioned without blocking crew access.
For a family group, compare shaded seating, steps between decks, toilet access and the way swimmers return aboard. A cabin count from a boat specification does not confirm that cabins are available to day-charter guests. Guests with mobility requirements should describe those requirements before the yacht is selected.
The separate party-versus-family layout guide explains those checks. Layout can improve how a permitted group uses the yacht; rearranging furniture does not increase the authorized headcount.
Price the group after selecting a suitable yacht
Enter adults, children and the selected package in Build Your Charter. Review the included guest allowance, additional passengers, marina fees, transportation and chosen extras. Do not divide a starting price by the yacht’s maximum capacity unless the quote actually covers that many guests.
For weddings and company outings, request the event arrangement alongside the passenger count. Forty people taking a casual cruise, forty people eating at once and forty people attending a presentation are different space-planning tasks, even with an identical headcount.
Capacity is the first check, not the reservation
After shortlisting, confirm the yacht, date, departure, duration and package together. All H2OH yachts board at Puerto Aventuras Marina. A boat that fits the group on paper is not reserved until the booking requirements and confirmation are completed.
