A Christmas yacht charter can be the part of your holiday when everyone finally spends time together. Make it a private outing with a clear route, meal plan and return time rather than expecting a floating hotel or an automatically included Christmas banquet.

H2OH charters depart from Puerto Aventuras Marina. Guests staying in Tulum or Playa del Carmen travel to that marina; the charter does not depart from Tulum beach or include a visit to the ruins.

Decide how the yacht day fits your Christmas plans

Start with the family’s fixed commitments: hotel meals, children’s routines, a restaurant reservation or a separate holiday event. Choose whether the yacht outing is the main celebration or one part of the day. Leave enough time for round-trip travel and getting ready afterward.

Compare a three-hour Xpu-Ha outing, a four-hour InHa snorkeling charter or a two-hour evening cruise. The route and activities differ. An evening departure may take place after sunset, so tell the team if daylight photographs are essential. Holiday weather, sea conditions and availability are not guaranteed.

Choose the yacht for everyone coming

Count every adult and child, including children under five. Compare seating, shade, bathrooms and boarding arrangements as well as capacity. Guests who do not want to swim can remain aboard. Discuss any assistance needs before booking rather than assuming all vessels have the same layout.

Pura Vida and Piratas de Tejas list capacities up to 80 guests; Dos Piratas up to 48 and Ultima Pirata up to 28. Those limits are not the guest allowances included in every fare or guarantees of a seated dinner layout.

Confirm the menu instead of assuming a Christmas dinner

Regular all-inclusive H2OH charters include meals and a standard open bar. The Family Charter option includes meals and non-alcoholic drinks without the open bar, with cash bar or bottle service available. Review the selected product rather than treating every charter as the same package.

A roast dinner, special seafood menu, private chef or formal table service is not automatically included because the date is Christmas. Send specific requests, allergies and children’s meal needs for review. Have accepted arrangements and any added cost written into the confirmation.

Keep the festive details practical

Choose one main decoration idea, a short holiday playlist and a time for a family photograph. Ask the crew to approve decorations, attachment methods and setup timing. Do not bring open flames or assume you can install lights and equipment without approval.

Review current flowers, cakes and celebration extras before ordering. Personalized cakes and flowers have advance-order requirements, and holiday availability needs confirmation. A band, DJ or photographer is a separate arrangement, not a standard Christmas inclusion.

Make the family budget transparent

Separate the charter fare, additional guests, marina fees, transportation, chosen extras and payment charges. Agree which costs the host covers and which are shared. Buying earlier gives you more time to coordinate; it does not automatically create a discount or guarantee a particular yacht.

For pickup planning, use the marina transport guide and your exact accommodation address. Reach the marina 20 minutes before departure and keep the return transfer compatible with the rest of the family’s day.
