Ask the groom to choose the main event: a daytime swim, reef snorkeling, karaoke or an evening together aboard. Collect the actual guest count and a comfortable spending limit before ordering extras. Identify non-swimmers, dietary requests and boarding assistance early.
Appoint one organizer for the reservation and one person to coordinate the group on the day. Keep the latest quote and guest list in one place. A friend who is not contributing money still counts as a passenger; someone joining dinner but not the yacht does not belong in the yacht headcount.

The charter duration includes outward cruising and the return. The captain confirms suitable stops and activities for conditions. Do not promise an island visit, fishing trip, beach barbecue or unrestricted extra time when inviting guests.
Start with the H2OH yacht fleet. Check maximum capacity first, then seating, shade, bathrooms, music and the space needed for your group photo or toast. The guest-capacity guide distinguishes the vessel limit from the number covered by its base fare.
A twelve-person group can compare yachts with larger capacities without having to fill them. That does not mean a base price for ten automatically covers twelve. Use the included guest allowance on the exact charter card and price any additional guests before dividing the bill.
This illustration uses the published Los Tres Piratas three-hour charter checked October 9, 2026: $975 USD, including up to fifteen guests. Twelve adults fit that allowance. Adding twelve marina fees of $20 gives $1,215 before transportation, extras, payment charges and gratuity. This is a published-price example, not an availability confirmation or a quote for your date.
When twelve people share those stated costs, the amount is $101.25 each. When eleven friends cover the groom’s share, it is approximately $110.45 per paying friend, with a five-cent rounding adjustment across the group. The boarding count remains twelve. Add all remaining charges before requesting the final contribution.
Regular all-inclusive charters include captain, crew, meals and open bar. A particular premium bottle, photographer, private chef or performer is not automatically included. Family and Custom Series have different meal-and-drink arrangements. Use the complete quote, and remember that transportation and marina fees are excluded from discounts.
A downloaded playlist and one person managing the connection may be enough. For a group sing-along, compare Karaoke at Sea and confirm the setup on the named yacht. Agree when music should be lowered for a toast and keep planned activities within the available time.
The extras page lists DJ service separately from an outside-DJ vendor fee; paying the vendor fee does not hire the performer. H2OH’s published rules restrict DJs to the reef rather than the Party Cove. Confirm the route, equipment, service time and total before paying an outside supplier. Photography and special meals also need their own confirmed arrangements.
Send one final message with the yacht name, date, hotel pickup entrance, pickup time, marina arrival and scheduled return. Arrive at Puerto Aventuras Marina 20 minutes before departure. A confirmed 10:00 a.m. three-hour booking means 9:40 a.m. marina arrival and 1:00 p.m. scheduled return; the transfer back follows afterward.
Use transportation guidance for guests staying in Tulum or Playa del Carmen. Ask swimmers to bring swimwear and towels. Bring sun-protective clothing, a secure hat, a cover-up and protected storage for phones.
Outside alcohol is not permitted. Follow the crew’s boarding, conduct and water-entry instructions, and do not pressure friends to swim, jump or drink. The CDC recommends avoiding alcohol before or during swimming, boating and other water activities. Keep a comfortable alternative aboard for anyone who is not participating in the water.
Review the guest rules and cancellation and weather terms before collecting money. Build the group estimate, then keep the confirmed yacht booking, transfers and agreed extras together. An inquiry or estimate does not reserve the charter.
