Decide whether the moment should involve just the couple and crew, a photographer, or friends and family. A private charter excludes unrelated paying guests, not the working crew. Tell the team who should know about the surprise and who should receive the planning messages.
Keep the setting comfortable rather than making the proposal depend on an elaborate performance. Choose a position with secure footing and enough space, as approved by the crew. A proposal does not require a yacht filled to capacity; a smaller private group can compare larger yachts for the layout it prefers.
Compare two-hour sunset and evening charters for an evening aboard. The available departure and sunset time for your date must match: an evening cruise can take place after dark, and clear sunset views are not guaranteed. Tell the team explicitly when natural-light photographs are essential.
A three-hour Xpu-Ha charter or four-hour InHa trip offers a different daytime plan. Decide whether the proposal should happen before anyone swims or changes clothes. The duration covers the complete charter and return, not a private photo session of that length.

The H2OH extras page, checked October 9, 2026, lists a professional photo package at $550 USD and an outside-photographer vendor fee at $150 USD. These are different charges: the outside-vendor fee does not pay for an outside photographer’s services. Obtain the selected arrangement and final price in your quote.
Agree on coverage time, the proposal cue, edited-photo delivery and any separate video request. Ask how the photographer will board and be accounted for. Do not infer unlimited coverage, a particular number of edited images, a drone service or live streaming from the words photo package. Specify flower colors, a cake message, a playlist and any particular toast drink. A standard open bar does not automatically include a chosen Champagne bottle, and included meals do not establish a custom private-chef menu. Use the bottle-service options and the written extras quote rather than relying on an old photograph.
Ask for approval before bringing decorations or hiring entertainment. Prefer simple, secure decorations and crew-approved battery lighting; do not plan around open flames, loose petals or items released into the sea. Fireworks, overnight accommodation and unrestricted shore stops are not inclusions in the standard charter plans described here.
Keep the speech personal and brief enough that you can speak naturally. Afterward, allow time for the couple’s reaction, photographs and a toast rather than immediately moving into another activity.
