For a yacht charter with friends or several families, agree on the passenger list and how the complete bill will be shared before anyone pays. One household may include children, another may arrange its own transport, and someone may cover a birthday guest’s contribution. Those differences belong in the budget, not in last-minute discussions at the marina.
Keep a passenger list and a payment list
The passenger list tells H2OH who is boarding: every adult and child, including infants, plus information about any outside vendors. The payment list tells your organizer who contributes. A guest whose share is covered by friends still counts toward capacity. Someone attending a later restaurant dinner but not the yacht does not belong in the yacht headcount.
Use Puerto Aventuras yacht charters and boat rentals to compare the actual group with the vessel’s maximum limit and the guests included in the base fare. These are separate numbers. Larger capacity does not mean additional passengers are free, and a smaller group can still book a larger yacht privately.
Build a shared-cost worksheet
Information to keep in the organizer’s budget| Cost line | Record | Agree with the group |
|---|
| Base charter | Named yacht, date, departure, duration, package and included guests. | How the shared base is divided between households or paying guests. |
| Additional passengers | The applicable extra-adult and child charges above the fare allowance. | Who pays each additional charge. |
| Marina fees | Chargeable attendees and amounts payable on charter day. | Whether the organizer collects them or each household pays. |
| Transportation | Actual pickup addresses, passengers per vehicle and quoted total. | Whether only passengers using the transfer contribute. |
| Extras | Cake, photographs, upgraded drinks or entertainment, with quantities. | Which items are shared and which are one person’s choice. |
| Payments | Deposit paid, remaining balance, processing charges and chosen gratuity. | Who pays H2OH and when others reimburse that person. |
Choose a fair split rather than an automatic one
Equal shares are easy when everyone receives the same services and agrees. A household-based split may be different. As arithmetic only, a hypothetical $1,500 complete bill divided by twelve paying people is $125 each. If eleven friends cover the twelfth person’s share, each pays about $136.36, with a small rounding adjustment. The boat still carries twelve people. This example is not a charter quote.
Child pricing and marina-fee rules do not determine how your family must share its private budget. Apply H2OH’s charges correctly first, then agree how to distribute the confirmed total. Avoid advertising a per-person amount obtained by dividing a base fare by the yacht’s maximum capacity.
Choose the shared activity before adding extras
A three-hour Xpu-Ha charter suits a daytime cruise and swimming when conditions permit. A four-hour InHa charter is the snorkeling-focused choice. A two-hour evening charter gives the group time aboard. These are different itineraries, and the whole duration includes the return.
Ask each household whether it wants to swim, sing, take photographs or stay aboard. Review shade, seating, steps and toilets for the people attending. Do not choose the yacht on the assumption that guest bedrooms, childcare or every water toy will be available.
Compare the package without mixing its benefits
Regular all-inclusive charters include captain, crew, meals and open bar. The Family option keeps meals and non-alcoholic drinks without the included open bar. Custom Series has separately selected food and bar arrangements. Share dietary requests before booking and confirm any necessary menu accommodation.
The marina fee is listed at $20 USD per attending guest aged five or older; children under five are exempt. Verify current terms through the guest rules. Transportation and marina fees are excluded from discounts. Do not count a promotion until it is confirmed on the actual order.
Plan how each household reaches the same marina
All H2OH yachts depart Puerto Aventuras Marina. Guests staying within walking distance can coordinate their own arrival at the confirmed yacht meeting point. Other guests should arrange transportation from their actual accommodation. Puerto Aventuras in a hotel’s name is not enough to establish a walking route.
Give each household the date, yacht name, pickup or walking instructions, marina arrival 20 minutes before departure and return plan. A late arrival does not extend the scheduled return. If attendance changes, obtain an updated quote and review the booking terms before promising a refund or a lower share.
Build the group estimate with the complete passenger list. One organizer should keep the final quote, payment record and booking confirmation so the group works from the same plan.
