2. Treating every charter duration as the same outing

Confirm your package’s menu, bar arrangements and any dietary requests before inviting guests to expect a particular meal or drink. A cake, upgraded bottle service, photography or decorations should be checked against the selected package or optional extras.

6. Planning a land-based schedule around charter hours alone

The charter duration is only part of the time your guests will be away. Allow for travel to the marina, early arrival, the full charter, disembarkation and the return transfer. A yacht scheduled back at the dock at 1:00 p.m. does not put the group back at its hotel at 1:00 p.m.
