A birthday yacht celebration has two separate purchases: the private charter and the finishing touches you add to it. Decide what the birthday guest would enjoy, then compare an individual cake, a decoration order or a celebration bundle without paying twice for the same item.
H2OH charters depart from Puerto Aventuras Marina. A birthday cake, hotel transfer or photographer is not automatically included just because you describe the booking as a birthday party.
Compare the cake and celebration options
The current H2OH extras page lists the following options as of October 9, 2026. These are published listing prices in USD, not a personalized quote or availability confirmation.
| Option |
Listed price |
What to check |
| Regular cake |
$30 |
Chocolate, vanilla or tres leches; approximately 12 servings; no personalization |
| Personalized specialty cake |
$75 |
Order at least 72 hours ahead; confirm design and servings |
| Birthday celebration package |
$100 |
Cake, balloon garland and Happy Birthday banner; yacht charter priced separately |
Ask which option fits your group and whether an upgrade replaces an included item or adds another one. For example, do not order a regular cake separately when you only want the single cake already listed in your celebration package. Confirm the final order with the crew rather than assuming every bundle is selectable in the regular estimate form.
Match the servings to the people
A cake’s approximate servings are not the yacht’s guest allowance. Count everyone who will want a slice, decide whether cake replaces or follows another dessert and ask about a larger order when needed. Send allergy and dietary requests for review; do not assume any cake can be made suitable without confirmation.
For personalization, provide the exact name, message and requested design early. Have the team confirm what can be supplied and by when. A late request is not a guarantee of the same design, price or availability.
Choose the charter around the birthday guest
Compare a three-hour Xpu-Ha outing, a four-hour InHa snorkeling charter or a two-hour evening cruise. They have different routes and activity plans. Tell the team whether the priority is reef time, music or a toast together, and confirm the departure for your date.
Compare birthday charter options and the named yacht’s capacity and layout. A maximum passenger limit is not the number included in the base fare. Children and infants count toward capacity, and guests who prefer not to swim can stay aboard.
Keep the rest of the order clear
Regular all-inclusive charters include meals and a standard open bar. Family and Custom Series choices have different inclusions. A private chef, premium bottle, DJ or photography service needs its own confirmation; none follows automatically from booking a birthday.
A short playlist and a planned group photograph may be all you need. Ask about the sound or karaoke equipment on the selected yacht and coordinate the cake moment with the crew. Do not promise a private reef, a particular float or water activity unless it belongs to the confirmed vessel and itinerary.
Build the complete birthday budget
List the yacht fare, additional passengers, marina fees, optional transfers, accepted celebration extras and any payment charges. Agree whether the host covers everything or guests contribute before collecting money.
Use the transportation guide for your accommodation and confirm pickup timing. Plan to arrive 20 minutes before departure. A transfer is a separate arrangement unless your specific offer includes it.
Send one final order to H2OH
Prepare the charter estimate, then confirm the birthday extras with the crew. Check the named yacht, date, route, headcount, cake order, decorations, transport and itemized total together. An estimate does not reserve the yacht; use the booking confirmation to settle the final details.
