About this app
H2OH Sun Cruises operates H2OH Social Media for authorized crew and office personnel. The app helps staff review filming instructions, manage charter assignments, capture or select photos and videos, upload selected media, and review upload progress. It requires an existing authorized H2OH account. Staff permissions determine which functions are available.
Information handled
- Account and staff information: name, email, account identifier, role, and contact details supplied during staff registration, including a mobile number where required. Sign-in is processed by H2OH’s HTTPS website; the native app uses the resulting session cookies.
- Charter and work records: booking identifiers, yacht, departure details, assigned crew, training acknowledgments, guest-permission selections, upload receipts, and progress or review records.
- Selected media: photos and videos, including recorded voices and other sound, and file information such as filename, format, size, dimensions, duration and orientation. Uploaded media may contain identifiable people and embedded metadata, including location metadata already present in a file.
- Technical information: H2OH’s website and infrastructure may process IP addresses, request information and security or error logs. The inspected native app contains no advertising or analytics SDK.
How the information is used
H2OH uses these records to authenticate staff, apply role permissions, organize charter filming, receive and verify uploads, display progress, provide support and protect the service. Media marked as having guest permission may be reviewed for H2OH’s editorial and marketing work. An upload does not automatically publish the file to social media. A staff permission selection is not a substitute for any permission required from the people recorded.
Recipients and service providers
Authorized H2OH personnel access information according to their operational roles. H2OH uses its website hosting, security and content-delivery services and its private Google Drive workflow to operate the app. Charter details are obtained from the existing booking system. Approved media may subsequently be published through H2OH’s social channels as part of a separate editorial process. H2OH may also disclose information when required by applicable law.
Device controls and security
The app uses Android’s file picker and the phone’s camera application. It does not request broad gallery, device-location, camera or microphone permissions in its current manifest. Only selected media is uploaded. Network requests to the H2OH backend use HTTPS. Access controls and encrypted transport do not make any system completely secure.
Upload batches and temporary prepared copies may remain on the device while a transfer is pending. Prepared copies are cleaned up when the app confirms their transfers and no queued item still needs them. This cleanup does not delete the originals in the phone’s gallery. Uninstalling the app does not delete previously uploaded server or Drive records.
Data retention
H2OH retains staff records, app work records, uploaded media and backups for 12 months. Records are not automatically erased when a staff member signs out or uninstalls the app. To request earlier deletion, use the account and data deletion process below.
Request account or data deletion
Mack Jones, owner of H2OH Sun Cruises, handles account and data deletion requests. To request review, correction or deletion of your H2OH Social Media account and associated app data, email [email protected] with the subject “H2OH Social Media data request.” Identify the account email and the records or media involved; do not send a password. Mack Jones will verify the requester’s identity and handle deletion of the account and associated app data, including account access, staff profile and associated media/work records. Any legally required retention will be explained in the response. Backup copies follow the 12-month retention period. For media already published through separate social platforms, we will explain what can be removed and any limits.
Intended audience and guest footage
The app is a work tool for authorized adult staff, not a service aimed at children. Guest footage may include minors. Staff must follow H2OH’s applicable guest-permission process before recording or proposing footage for publication.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as the app or our practices change. The effective date appears above. Questions and data requests should be sent to Mack Jones at [email protected].
