When comparing yacht charter destinations in Mexico, separate three places: where you stay, where you board and where the yacht actually goes. They may not be the same. A destination name in an advertisement is not an itinerary.
For H2OH, every charter departs from Puerto Aventuras Marina. The Riviera Maya service-area pages help guests plan from different hotels and villas; they do not describe separate H2OH boarding points. This guide focuses on those Caribbean holiday areas, not a yacht route covering all of Mexico.
Match your accommodation to the boarding plan
| Where you stay |
What to organize for an H2OH charter |
| Tulum |
Provide the exact town, hotel-zone or villa address for the road transfer. Boarding is not on Tulum beach. |
| Akumal |
Arrange transport to Puerto Aventuras. A local lagoon visit and the yacht charter are separate outings. |
| Playa del Carmen |
Confirm the pickup property rather than assuming departure from the ferry pier. |
| Puerto Morelos |
Include both road journeys in the day’s schedule; the local reef is not automatically the charter destination. |
| Puerto Aventuras |
Confirm your yacht’s meeting point and the walk or local journey from your accommodation. |
The transportation guide lists pickup areas and approximate travel times. Use the team’s confirmed pickup for your actual address, and plan to reach the marina 20 minutes before departure.
Choose the route for the activity you want
For a coastal swimming and celebration outing, compare the three-hour Xpu-Ha charter. For reef snorkeling, compare the four-hour InHa itinerary. For an evening together, review the two-hour sunset and twilight options, checking daylight against your departure date.
These are different products. A three-hour charter is not a shortened version of every four-hour stop, and charter duration includes the journey and time aboard. The captain confirms suitable routes and water activities for conditions.
Keep other destinations on their own itinerary
Do not add Cozumel, Isla Mujeres, Tulum’s ruins or an inland cenote to an H2OH booking simply because they appear in a Mexico travel guide. A visit requires an itinerary that explicitly includes it, with the appropriate transport and admission arrangements. Ask for a separate plan when a particular attraction is essential.
Likewise, private use of a yacht does not give your group exclusive use of a beach, reef or anchorage. Avoid choosing a route on a promise of empty water, guaranteed wildlife or unrestricted stops.
Compare the yacht and package after choosing the experience
Use the current fleet to compare passenger capacity, shade, seating and the features your group needs. Count all children. A vessel’s maximum capacity is different from the number of guests included in its fare.
Check the selected product’s meal, drinks and equipment. Regular all-inclusive, Family and Custom Series arrangements differ. Do not infer a private chef, overnight suite, jet skis or every water toy from the word yacht. Include additional guests, marina fees, transport and chosen extras in the comparison.
Send one destination-specific request
Record your accommodation, travel dates, passenger count, preferred activity and total time available. Build your charter estimate, then confirm the named yacht, route, departure and return arrangements. An estimate helps compare the trip; it does not reserve the vessel.
