Send the accommodation name, full address and a map pin when requesting transportation. Add the entrance or meeting point your property recommends. For a villa, include the villa name and access instructions rather than relying on the name of the neighborhood.
A Tulum beach-zone pickup can take longer than a pickup in town. H2OH’s transportation page currently gives an approximate Tulum-to-marina journey of 45 minutes, with longer trips possible from the beach zone. Treat that as a planning estimate; your confirmed pickup time should account for your actual address and traffic.
Write down the yacht departure first, then the required marina arrival, then the pickup. H2OH asks guests to arrive 20 minutes before departure. A departure time is not a hotel pickup time.
For example, for a confirmed 1:30 PM departure, the marina arrival target is 1:10 PM. Do not choose your pickup by subtracting a generic driving estimate alone. Ask the transport team to confirm the pickup for your property, allowing for the complete journey and check-in. This example does not confirm yacht availability.
Keep the morning before your charter simple. If you are scheduling another outing, leave room to return to your accommodation, change, gather the group and reach the agreed pickup point.
Give the transport team the total passenger count, including children, and mention bags, mobility needs or child-seat requests before the vehicle is arranged. Ask the team to confirm any equipment you need rather than assuming it is included.
H2OH lists air-conditioned vans for up to 14 passengers and group buses seating 27–52. Larger groups should request a vehicle plan and quote ahead of time. A yacht’s passenger capacity does not determine the capacity of your transfer vehicle.
If guests are staying at several properties, send every address together. Ask whether one pickup point or several stops will work best. Agree on the route before the day so everyone knows where to meet.
Check whether transportation is included in your specific package or added separately. Ask for a written total for your pickup address and group, and confirm that the quoted transfer covers both directions. Use the transportation page for current published options rather than an old screenshot.
When comparing charter quotes, keep the transport amount separate from the boat, marina fees and selected extras. That makes it easier to see what your booking actually covers. If you are arranging your own driver, share the marina directions and confirm the return plan directly with that driver.
Confirm the return meeting point, the contact person and how your group will identify its vehicle. Keep the booking details accessible on your phone and share them with one other person in the group.
Leave room between the expected marina return and a dinner reservation in Tulum. Your group still needs to leave the yacht, reach the vehicle and travel back. Give a restaurant your realistic arrival plan instead of treating the end of the cruise as the time you will be back at your hotel.
